Kiln Dried Firewood!

We are proud to announce that as of 2009 our firewood products are "kiln dried". This means that there is no longer a waiting period needed to air dry our firewood. It can be cut, processed, dried and delivered all in the same week. You can rest assured that not only will each log be fully dried of tree sap and burn easily, but more importantly, any insects residing under the bark or disease infesting the harvested trees has been destroyed by the high temperature kiln drying process.

 Kiln drying is costly, but We care enough about the health of our neighborhood's live trees to pay the additional cost... and hope you do too by choosing us as your firewood supplier.

Kiln dried available products :

1) Premium Mixed: (a varied mix of Hardwoods: Elms, Maples, Ash, Oak, Cherry, Walnut, Hickory... makes for a nice blend of hardwoods, some being harder than others.) Recommended for fireplace (inside or out).

2) Oak: (Dense hardwood providing a longer burn but harder to start) Recommended for fireplace (inside or out) , wood stove or barbecue.

3) Cherry : (Easy to light, faster burn, nice aroma and crackles a lot) Recommended for fireplace (inside or out) and barbecue.

4) Hickory: (Dense hardwood providing a longer burn but harder to start) Recommended for Fireplace (inside or out), wood stove and barbecue.

5) Birch: (Easy to light, faster burn and decorative) Recommended for fireplace (inside or out).
